to create some plates with fabric I printed myself (a quilting weight cotton). No matter what I do...I get air bubbles. Most tutorials I've looked at over the years just say "smooth out air bubbles" as if it is a very easy step. But, for me, it's not easy! No matter what I do, I seem to get those pesky bubbles. Sometimes they are quite tiny, but there are always a lot of them. I have tried decoupage with fabric and paper, and it's always a problem. Is there a secret to it? Or, I was wondering if you had any tips...your plates are so lovely, and I thought it would not hurt to ask....perhaps I am not using enough glue, or, I just don't have the magic touch!

I see Decoupage artists like John Derian, and they make so many plates for stores and customers...never with an air bubble, so there must be a way!

What is the best product to use on the back of a g...

What is the best product to use on the back of a glass plate to aide in waterproofing and protecting the paper?
