The fight for the BMW Championship will go into a fifth day after Sunday's play in Illinois was beset by bad weather.
Four players managed to complete their final round - Rory McIlroy among them - when the siren sounded to usher the field back into the clubhouse.
A period of heavy weather followed and, although the players returned to the course at 1.30pm local time, organisers had already decided that Monday play was going to be needed.
Suspended: The BMW Championship will continue into a fifth day after being hit by bad weather
That was because at 2pm local time, 26 players had yet to swing a club, with the last of them, leader Jim Furyk, slated for a 4.10pm start.
He and compatriot Steve Stricker had no chance of getting around in daylight, with the same going for the majority of others.
McIlroy did manage to finish, though, and signed off with a relatively promising round considering his form this year and at this event.
The Northern Irishman carded a three-under 68, meaning he finished seven over for the week. That he was 20 shots behind a still-to-play Furyk shows how much work he still has to do.
